Matt Martin is a professional freelance trombonist based in Chicago. Matt has performed with symphonies across the Midwest including the Chicago Sinfonietta, Illinois Philharmonic, Orchestra Iowa, Northwest Indiana, and Oistrahk Symphonies. In addition, Matt has performed with theater companies throughout the Chicagoland area as well as big bands, and popular artists like Chance the Rapper. Matt also participated in the world premiere of Jim Stephenson’s “Glissin’ Up”, as a member of the solo trombone quartet in Nashville, TN. Aside from performing, Matt enjoys biking around Chicago and hiking whenever he gets the opportunity.
